I really appreciate that this isn't a medical book written over the head of parents who have just learned of their child's diagnosis, but a real world example of what happened, what's available in California and ideas of where to look where I live. Great ideas and information!
If God has blessed you with an autistic child then Kimberly Kaplan's book is a must for you. This is no high-fallutin' text book, it's a book that Ms. Kaplan has written as if she were your next-door neighbor. And in a sense she is. As parents you two are bonded by a unique circumstance, s circumstance that requires you to be strong and brave and patient. Let "Two Years of Autism" be your bible to give you comfort, to give you answers, and most of all, let you know you are not alone.
